How do I start the Craftsman M220 engine?

To start the engine, first remove debris from the debris screen, then set the ON/OFF switch to ON. For a cold engine, push the primer bulb five times with two seconds between each push. Firmly hold the recoil starter handle and pull back sharply. Do not allow the starter rope to snap back; let it slowly rewind as you hold the handle. If the engine fails to start after three pulls, push the primer bulb two times and pull again.
