What is Auto pause and can I turn it off?

Auto pause is an energy-saving feature that pauses your straightener when it is left for three seconds with the arms open, reactivating when you pick it up. You can disable Auto pause by pressing and holding the Mode select button to access the settings menu, scrolling to the Auto pause option, and toggling it off using the Cool mode button. (Pages 6–7)
