How do I clean the ice maker bin, and what cleaning products should I use?

Turn off the ice maker, remove the ice bin, and carefully clean it with mild detergent and clean water. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners, and never use an ice pick or sharp instrument to break up stuck ice — instead, use warm water to loosen it. Allow the ice bin to dry completely before replacing it in the freezer, then turn the ice maker back on.
