A newly installed refrigerator may take 8 to 12 hours to begin making ice cubes. The icemaker will not begin to operate until it reaches its operating temperature of 15°F (-9°C) or below. You should also throw away the first few batches of ice to allow the water line to clear. (Pages 13, 23)
