How do I properly load knives and silverware into the dishwasher?

Load fork and knife handles up to protect your hands, while spoons should be placed with handles down. Mix knives, forks, and spoons so they do not nest together, and distribute them evenly in the basket. Small plastic items such as measuring spoons should go in the bottom of the silverware basket with silverware placed on top. (Page 15)
