What should I do to prevent my dishwasher from freezing if I leave it unused during winter?

If your dishwasher is left in an unheated place during winter, ask a service technician to: cut off electrical power, turn off the water supply and disconnect the inlet line, drain water from the inlet line and valve, reconnect the inlet line, and remove the plastic sump cover to soak up water in the rubber boot with a sponge.
