Remove all metal utensils, add no detergent, select the Normal Wash cycle, and allow it to run for 18–22 minutes until the main wash stage, then open the door and pour 2 cups (500 ml) of white vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher. If vinegar doesn't work, repeat the process using 1/4 cup (60 ml) of citric acid crystals instead. If neither method works, the cloudiness is permanent etching and cannot be removed.
