What should I do to prepare my refrigerator before going on a long vacation?

Remove food and unplug the refrigerator, then clean the interior with a baking soda solution (one tablespoon per quart of water) and leave the doors open. Set the icemaker power switch to the O (off) position and shut off the water supply to the refrigerator. If temperatures may drop below freezing, have a qualified servicer drain the water supply system to prevent flooding damage. (Page 13)
