How do I add a forgotten garment after a wash cycle has already started?

You can add a garment when the ADD GARMENT indicator light is illuminated, which signals the washer is in the proper part of the cycle for best performance. Press START/PAUSE, open the lid after it unlocks, add the garment, close the lid, and press START/PAUSE to resume. Adding garments when the light is off may cause unsatisfactory wash performance.
