How often should I clean the dispenser drawer, and how do I do it?

The dispenser drawer should be cleaned once or twice a month to remove detergent and fabric softener residue buildup. To clean it, pull the drawer straight out until it stops, lift the front and remove it, then take out the inserts and rinse everything with warm water. Use a small non-metal brush to clean the drawer recess, removing all residue from the upper and lower parts, then replace the inserts and drawer. (Page 10)
