What water temperature should my home water heater be set to for proper washer operation?

Your house water heater should be delivering water at 120°F–140°F (48°C–60°C) for proper washer operation. If the water temperature is incorrect, check that the water temperature control is set properly and that both hot and cold faucets are fully open and connected to the correct faucets. (Page 8)
