How do I remove and clean the ice cube storage bin?

Lift the left corner of the ice cube storage bin to free it from the shelf and pull it straight out while supporting it at the front and back. If you don't use ice often and ice clumps form, remove the storage bin and break up ice clumps with fingertip pressure. Empty the storage bin periodically and wash it in lukewarm water. Be sure to allow the storage bin to cool before replacing it, otherwise ice cubes will stick to the metal auger. To replace the bin, slide it back until the tab on the bin locks into the slot in the shelf. (Pages 6-7)
