For use with back support (approximately 3 to 10 years old), your child must weigh between 30 and 100 lbs (13.6 and 45 kg) and be between 38 and 57 inches (96 and 145 cm) in height. Additionally, the shoulder belt must lay across the child's shoulders in the red zone, the lap portion must be positioned low on the child's hips, and the child's ears must be below the top of the booster seat.
How do I adjust the head support height on the booster seat?
Before adjusting, have your child lean forward slightly. Squeeze the red adjustment button on top of the seat and pull the back support up until it snaps into one of the 6 height positions. To lower it, squeeze the red button and push down. Check that it is securely snapped into position by pulling up on the head support.
When and how should I use the shoulder belt positioning clip?
If the shoulder belt lays outside the red zone on the child's shoulders, you must use the shoulder belt positioning clip. Insert the loop end of the strap around the vertical bar on the rear of the seat (closest to where the vehicle shoulder belt crosses the child), pass the clip and strap through the loop end, and slide the vehicle shoulder belt onto the clip. Pull the strap down to tighten the clip against the child's shoulder.
How do I clean and maintain the booster seat?
Clean metal and plastic parts with mild soap and cool water—do not use bleach or detergents. To remove the seat cover, remove the elastic loops and hooks from the seat (and any plastic clips on certain models), then machine wash the cover in cold water on a delicate cycle and air dry. Do not use bleach. Use a booster seat mat, towel, or thin blanket to protect vehicle upholstery from continuous use.
Can I use this booster seat on an airplane?
No, this restraint is not certified for use in aircraft because there are no shoulder belts available in an aircraft. The booster seat is only certified for use in motor vehicles.

9 Assembling the Booster Seat Step 1. Insert armrest into base as shown until buttons snap into slots on side of base . Step 2. Select the desired armrest height for your child, then insert the height adjustment screw and tighten. Repeat for other armrest. Step 3. To adjust armrests, remove screw and press in button on side of base as shown to raise or lower . Reinsert screw and tighten. CHECK to make sure armrests are securely attached by pulling up on them.

10 Step 4. Slip armrest covers (on certain models) onto armrests as shown. Step 5. Your Graco booster seat is now ready to use. See page 31, “Securing Child in Vehicle with Shoulder Belt Positioning Clip”. FOR MODELS with a back support continue on to Step 6.
11 Assembling the Back Support (on certain models) Step 6. Flip head support and lower back support over as shown . Step 7. Squeeze red adjustment button and slide two pieces together until they snap into place . CHECK to make sure two pieces are securely snapped together by pulling on them.

Vehicle belts MUST lay flat against child and MUST not be twisted. DO NOT use shoulder belt loose or positioned under child’s arm . DO NOT position vehicle belt over top of the armrests . It must pass underneath the armrests. Make sure vehicle belt is NOT twisted. Lap portion of lap/shoulder belt MUST be low and snug on hips, just touching thighs.
