How do I clean the car seat pad and canopy?

To clean the seat pad and canopy, first loosen the harness straps and remove them from the splitter plate by pulling them out from the front of the car seat. Pull out the four plastic flaps from the sides of the seat, then pull the pad off the shell. Remove the canopy by sliding it to one side of the canopy hoop and pulling the hoop apart from the center. Machine wash both the pad and canopy in cold water on a delicate cycle and drip-dry. Do not use bleach. Reverse the steps to reattach the pad to the shell, ensuring the harness straps are not twisted. (Pages 70-72)
