How do I install the Graco Extend to Fit 3-in-1 car seat rear-facing with LATCH straps?

First, place the car seat in recline position 1 or 2, then remove the LATCH connectors from storage by pushing the red buttons. Extend the LATCH strap to its maximum length by pressing the gray button and pulling. Place the car seat rear-facing in the vehicle back seat, center it between the lower LATCH anchors, connect the LATCH connectors to the anchors, and tighten the strap while pressing down firmly on the center of the seat. The car seat should not move more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) when tested. (Pages 14-16)
