Why won't my swing operate?

Common causes include no batteries installed, dead batteries, the speed setting being too low, or batteries inserted backwards — check the positive and negative terminals. Other causes can include corrosion on the battery terminals or the baby grabbing the swing legs, in which case you should discontinue use. You may also need to push the swing to start it. (Page 39)
