How do I know if the car seat is installed tightly enough?
Grab the sides of the seat at the belt path and slide the car seat side-to-side and front-to-back. If the seat moves less than 1 inch (2.5 cm), it is tight enough. This test applies whether you are using the LATCH system or the vehicle seat belt. (Page 37, Page 42)
