Common Questions
29 totalWhen should I stop using the Pack 'n Play playard for my child?
Stop using this product when your child reaches 35 inches (89 cm) in height, weighs more than 30 lb (14 kg), or is able to climb out. Any one of these conditions is sufficient reason to discontinue use.
How do I fold the Pack 'n Play playard for storage?
First, release the snap straps and remove the mattress pad, then pull the center floor tab upward until you hear a click. Next, lift each top rail slightly, press the button on the side of the rail to release both tubes, and push the rail down — repeat on all four sides. Wrap the mattress pad around the folded playard and fasten the straps. (Page 10-12)
What mattress pad can I use with the Graco Pack 'n Play?
Use ONLY the mattress pad provided by Graco, which measures 27" x 39" (68.5 cm x 99 cm) and is less than one inch thick. Using a thicker or different-sized mattress pad may allow a child's head to become trapped between the mattress and the side of the playard, causing suffocation. (Page 4)
Can I add extra padding, pillows, or a second mattress to the playard?
No — NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or padding to the playard. Infants can suffocate in gaps between an improperly sized mattress and the product sides, or on soft bedding. (Page 4)
How do I clean the Pack 'n Play playard and its mattress?
Clean the playard using only household soap or detergent and warm water — do not submerge the playard in water. To clean the mattress pad, wipe it with a damp cloth only; do not use bleach and do not submerge the mattress pad in water. (Page 15)
How do I wash the carry bag that comes with the playard?
Machine wash the carry bag in cold water on the delicate cycle and drip-dry it. Do not use bleach on the carry bag. (Page 15)
