Is it safe to use the storage bag on the inside of the playard?

No — never use the storage bag on the inside of the unit, as a child may use it as a step to climb out or to reach items stored in the bag. Additionally, remove the storage bag entirely when the child is able to pull themselves up in the playard, and never place sharp or pointed objects in the bag. (Page 14)
