Will my programmed codes be lost if I replace the batteries?
Programmed codes remain stored for up to 10 minutes while you replace the batteries. However, you must not press any buttons before inserting the new batteries, as all codes will be erased if a button is pressed while no batteries are in the remote. (Page 4)
