Can I use an extension cord or dimmer with the DIY-300PS transformer?
No, you must not use an extension cord or a dimmer with this transformer. The power supply unit must be plugged directly into a GFCI wet location outlet. Using either an extension cord or dimmer is a safety violation noted in the manual. (Page 2)
