How should the photocell be mounted and can it be replaced?
Mount the photocell bracket on a wall or other solid surface using the provided BB screws, and snap the sensor into the bracket at a height suitable for detecting ambient light levels. Avoid pointing the sensor at nighttime light sources such as windows, porch lights, and street lights. If the wires to the photocell are cut or broken, it can be replaced by unscrewing the connector cover, pulling out the bi-pin connector, and inserting a replacement — note that the connector is polarized and can only be inserted one way. Replacement photocells are available in store. (Page 7)
