How do I start my Honda Fourtrax 300 when it's cold outside?
When starting a cold engine, pull the choke lever fully to the ON position before pressing the start button (Page 47). After initial startup, warm up the engine by opening and closing the throttle slightly. Once warmed, turn the choke lever down to halfway, then completely OFF when idling becomes stable (Pages 49-50).
