How do I install the Honeywell T6 Pro thermostat?

Begin by turning off power at the breaker box. Position and level the UWP mounting system on the wall, mark hole positions, drill appropriate holes based on anchor type (red or yellow), and insert wall anchors. Insert wires through the wiring hole, place the UWP over anchors, and tighten mounting screws without over-tightening. If using an optional cover plate, mount it first and then attach the UWP by hanging it on the top hook and snapping the bottom into place. Finally, align and gently push the thermostat onto the UWP until it snaps in place, then turn power back on.
