What is the correct procedure for removing and installing memory modules?

To safely remove memory modules from your HP 250 G7 Notebook PC, start by preparing the computer for disassembly as instructed on page 28. Then disconnect optical drive components (see Optical Drive removal process), unscrew the battery following Battery Removal instructions, and proceed with removing memory modules using the steps given starting at Memory module instructions page 39 by spreading retention clips while grasping edge of module to gently pull out. During reinstall, ensure you align notched edges correctly into slots and press down firmly until side retention clips snap into place.
