What do I need to prepare before calling HP Support?

Before calling, ensure the HP All-in-One is plugged in and turned on, print cartridges are installed correctly, and paper is properly loaded. You should also reset the device by turning it off, unplugging the power cord, plugging it back in, and turning it on again. Have the device name, a printed self-test report, your serial number, service ID, and a detailed description of the problem ready, and be near the printer when you call. (Pages 11–12)
