What does the amber battery light mean on the HP EliteBook 8460p?
An amber battery light means the computer is connected to external power and the battery is charged between 0 and 90%. If the amber battery light is blinking, it means a battery that is the only available power source has reached a low battery level. When the battery reaches a critical level, the amber light begins blinking rapidly. (Page 20)
