How do I restore the HP Envy 6400e to factory defaults?

With the cartridge access door open, press and hold the Wi-Fi and Power buttons simultaneously for at least three seconds to restore factory defaults. This removes all settings and functions previously set up on the printer. When the light bar glows amber towards the edges and then transitions to green, the printer is restoring factory defaults and will automatically restart.
