What does it mean when the edge lighting glows amber on the HP Envy 6400e?

Amber glowing across the large light bar indicates a warning or printer blocking error. If the light bar fast blinks amber, there is a serious printer error and all LEDs on the printer will fast blink — turn the printer off and then back on again to resolve the issue.
