How do I use Wi-Fi Direct to print without a router?

Press the Wi-Fi Direct button on the control panel to turn on Wi-Fi Direct — the Wi-Fi Direct indicator light will turn on when enabled. Then simultaneously press the Wi-Fi Direct button and the Information button to print the Wi-Fi Direct guide, and follow its instructions to connect your computer or mobile device to the printer. Note that Internet access is not available through a Wi-Fi Direct connection. (Page 5)
