What is the warranty period for the HP OfficeJet Pro 6970 printer and its ink cartridges?

The printer hardware carries a 1-year limited warranty. Ink cartridges are warranted until the HP ink is depleted or the 'end of warranty' date printed on the cartridge is reached, whichever comes first. This warranty does not cover ink cartridges that have been refilled, remanufactured, refurbished, misused, or tampered with. (Page 3)
