Change the print mode to a draft setting, which uses less ink, and avoid cleaning the printhead unnecessarily as this wastes ink and shortens cartridge life. You can also reduce paper usage by printing on both sides of the paper using the duplexer accessory or by manually printing odd pages first, flipping them, then printing even pages. (Page 15)
