What does the amber light on the AC adapter indicate?

An amber AC adapter light means the computer is connected to external power and the battery is between 0 and 90% charged. If the amber light is blinking, a battery that is the only available power source has reached a low battery level, and if it blinks rapidly, the battery has reached a critical level. (Page 23)
