What should I do when I see the 'cartridge low' or 'cartridge very low' message on the control panel?
You do not need to replace the toner cartridge immediately when the low warning appears — actual remaining life may vary. Only consider replacing the cartridge when print quality drops below an acceptable level. A replacement cartridge should be kept on hand for when quality becomes unacceptable. (Page 167)
