How do I create recovery media on a Windows 8 HP Z840 Workstation?

From the Start screen, type 'create a recovery drive' and select 'Create a recovery drive,' then follow the on-screen instructions using a USB flash drive with a capacity of at least 8 GB. Be aware that any existing information on the USB flash drive will be erased before the recovery media is created. HP recommends not deleting the recovery partition when prompted, as doing so will prevent future use of Refresh or Reset.
