Can I add dishes after a cycle has already started?

You can add items anytime before the main wash starts by checking if the main wash detergent dispenser section is still closed. Lift the door latch to stop the cycle, wait for spraying to stop, open the door, add the item, and close the door without latching it for 30 seconds. Then close the door firmly until it latches and the dishwasher will resume after about a 5-second pause. (Page 13)
