How do I complete the initial setup of my Keurig K-Slim Coffee Maker?

Remove packing tape, plug into a grounded outlet, rinse the water reservoir and fill to the MAX FILL line, then lift and lower the handle without inserting a K-Cup pod to power it on. Select the 8oz brew size and press the blinking brew button to run a cleansing brew, pouring the hot water into the sink. Once this cleansing brew is complete, the one-time setup process is finished and you are ready to brew. (Page 2)
