How should I store my K-Slim if I'm not going to use it for a while?

Empty the water reservoir before storing or transporting the coffee maker, and store it in a safe, frost-free environment. When preparing to use it after storage, rinse the water reservoir with fresh water and descale the coffee maker as detailed in the descaling section. If the coffee maker has been in a below-freezing environment, allow it to warm to room temperature for at least 2 hours before using. (Page 5)
