Is it safe to put my hands inside the K-Cup pod holder?
No, you should never put your fingers inside the K-Cup pod holder. There are sharp needles that puncture the K-Cup pod both above and in the bottom of the K-Cup pod holder, posing a risk of injury. Additionally, you should never lift the handle during the brewing process as there is extremely hot water in the pod holder area. (Page 3)
