What is the descaling procedure and what do I need?

Before descaling, gather a large ceramic mug (not paper), fresh water, Keurig Descaling Solution, and access to a sink. Allow 15-20 minutes for the procedure. Step 1 involves pouring the entire bottle of descaling solution and a bottle-full of water into the reservoir, then activating Descale Mode by pressing and holding the 8oz and 12oz buttons for 3 seconds until the DESCALE light turns solid. Then press the brew button repeatedly when it flashes until the ADD WATER light appears. Step 2 involves emptying and refilling the reservoir with fresh water, and Step 3 involves repeating the brew cycle until ADD WATER appears again. (Page 4)
