How do I replace or rewind the cutting line spool?

To remove the spool, first remove the battery, invert the trimmer, press the two parallel tabs on the spool cover (L) to remove it, then pull out the spool (M) from the spool housing (O). To install a new pre-wound spool, insert the line ends through the openings in the spool housing, align the tabs on the spool cover with the slots in the housing, and push down to lock. To advance the line after installation, pull the line while pressing the line release button on the side of the spool housing. (Page 12)
