What should I do before leaving the air conditioner unused for a long period of time?

Before extended periods of non-use, operate the air conditioner in Air Circulation mode for 2 to 3 hours to dry out the internal parts. Then turn off the circuit breaker, as dirt may collect inside the unit and could cause a fire.
