Common Questions
19 totalWhat should I do if the remote controller display shows 'CH'?
'CH' flashing in the remote controller display indicates that a problem has occurred with the air conditioner. You should contact your dealer for assistance when this self-diagnosis code appears.
How often should I clean the air filter on the LB-H0850QC?
The air filters should be checked and cleaned once every 2 weeks, or more often if necessary. Clogged air filters reduce airflow, lower cooling and dehumidifying effects, and can waste up to 6% of the electricity used to operate the air conditioner.
How do I properly clean the air filter?
Clean the filter with a vacuum or warm, soapy water. If very dirty, wash with a solution of detergent in lukewarm water, but do not use hot water of 50°C or more as it may deform the filter. After washing, dry the filter well in the shade before re-installing it.
Why does the air conditioner not start immediately when restarted?
The air conditioner will not operate for about 3 minutes when restarted — this is a built-in protector for the mechanism. Simply wait about three minutes and operation will begin.
How do I activate the Child Lock function on the remote controller?
Press the Timer button and Minute Set button simultaneously for three seconds to activate Child Lock mode. The display will show 'CL', and pressing any other button will not change the mode while Child Lock is active. To cancel Child Lock, press the same two buttons again for three seconds.
What should I do before leaving the air conditioner unused for a long period of time?
Before extended periods of non-use, operate the air conditioner in Air Circulation mode for 2 to 3 hours to dry out the internal parts. Then turn off the circuit breaker, as dirt may collect inside the unit and could cause a fire.
