How should I prepare the air conditioner when it will not be used for a long time?

Before leaving the unit unused for an extended period, operate the air conditioner in Air Circulation mode for 2 to 3 hours to dry out the internal parts. Then turn off the circuit breaker, as dirt may collect and cause a fire if the breaker is left on. When ready to use again, check that the air inlet and outlet of the indoor and outdoor units are not blocked.
