What should I do to protect the washing machine if it is stored or moved in freezing temperatures?

Turn off the water supply tap and disconnect hoses, then add 1 gallon (3.8L) of non-toxic recreational vehicle (RV) antifreeze into an empty wash drum, close the door, and run a spin cycle for 1 minute to drain water. Unplug the power cord, dry the drum interior, remove the dispenser drawer and dry it, then store the washer upright. To remove the antifreeze after storage, run an empty washer through a complete cycle using detergent with no wash load. (Page 28)
