Common Questions
18 totalWhat do the error codes on the display mean?
The display shows specific error codes to indicate different faults: water pressure sensing error, overfilling problem, door not closed, water inlet trouble, drainage trouble, unbalanced load, water temperature trouble, motor overload, power failure, and dry heater or thermostat trouble. If any of these error letters are displayed, refer to the troubleshooting guide on page 29 for guidance. Some errors require you to call a service centre if they are not resolved. (Page 24)
How do I activate and deactivate the Child Lock feature?
Child Lock is activated by pressing the Rinse+ button and Pre Wash button simultaneously for about three seconds. To deactivate it, press the same two buttons simultaneously again for about three seconds. When Child Lock is set, all buttons are locked except the Power button, and the child lock symbol is shown on the display. (Page 19)
How do I remove the transit bolts before using the washing machine for the first time?
Before operating the washer, you must remove the 4 transit bolts that were fitted to prevent internal damage during transport. Unscrew the 4 bolts using the spanner supplied, then take out the bolts along with the rubber bungs by slightly twisting the bung. Close the holes with the caps supplied, and keep the bolts and spanner for future use when transporting the machine again. (Page 6)
What should I do if the washing machine will not drain or drains slowly?
Check whether the drain hose is kinked or clogged, and clean and straighten it if necessary. Also check whether the drain filter is clogged and clean it. The drain hose should not be placed higher than 100 cm above the floor, as this can cause slow or no draining. (Pages 10, 29)
What is the maximum spin speed for the WD(M)-14331(6)ADK model?
The WD(M)-14331(6)ADK model has a maximum spin speed of 1400 rpm, available for Cotton, Rinse+Spin, and Quick 30 programs. The spin speed options range from No Spin, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, and 1400 rpm depending on the program selected. Delicate items are limited to a maximum of 800 rpm. (Pages 5, 18)
What should I run before washing clothes for the very first time?
Before the first wash, select a Cotton 60°C cycle, add a half load of detergent, and allow the unit to wash without any clothing. This will remove residues and water from the drum that may have been left during manufacturing. (Page 12)
