What items should NOT be washed in the DW-1 dishwasher?
Items that should not be washed include cast iron, pewter or tin, wood, and gold-plated flatware. Aluminum (anodized), antique or hand-painted china, delicate crystal, and plastics not marked 'dishwasher safe' are also not recommended or require special consideration. Always check the manufacturer's recommendations before washing items you are unsure about. (Page 2)
