What items should never be dried in my Maytag dryer?

Never dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on it, including cooking oils, as no washer can completely remove oil and these items can ignite. Items containing foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber-backed articles, and clothes or pillows with foam rubber pads must only be dried on a clothesline. Items exposed to substances like acetone, alcohol, petrol, or kerosene should be washed in hot water with extra detergent before being placed in the dryer.
