Why does my dishwasher cycle take longer than expected?

The cycle may be extended if the Hi Temp or Temp Boost option has been selected, as the dishwasher will heat the water to the proper temperature before proceeding. You should also check that the incoming water temperature is 120°F (49°C), as low inlet water temperature will cause the cycle to run longer.
