What are the electrical requirements for installing this dryer?

The dryer requires a 3- or 4-wire, single-phase, 120/240-volt, 60 Hz AC electrical supply on a separate 30-amp circuit, fused on both sides of the line. A time-delay fuse or circuit breaker is recommended, and an extension cord must not be used. Homes built after 1996, circuits remodeled after 1996, and all mobile home installations require a 4-wire supply connection per the National Electric Code. (Page 5)
